Fronted by multi-talented singer/songstress Shani Forrester, local celtic-folk outfit Luna Junction will be bringing their unique melodies to Ric’s Bar on Monday the 31st of May for what promises to be an exiting night of music. Armed with guitars, percussion, bass, trumpet and a saxophone, Luna Junction will be treating Ric’s to a blend of “simple celtic-folk with an array of musical influences” ranging from contemporary folk and dating all the way back to the great jazz bands of the 1920s.
Supporting Luna Junction will be progressive rock duo Hundred Acres, featuring local singer/songwriters Jessica Holz and Chris Hobman. Performing co-written pieces and their own solo compositions, Hundred Acres will delver their catchy guitar riffs and lush two part harmonies. Entry is free. Doors at 8:00pm.
